Longleng, September 2 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Sakshi block under Longleng district conducted a one day demonstration at Sakshi village on September 1.
A press release stated that resource person, Namei, SRF, KVK conducted a demonstration on ‘packages of practices for cultivation of winter vegetables.’ Namei stressed on the need for nursery raising for about a month before transplanting in the main field.
Cauliflower and kholkhol seeds were sown in the nursery and further emphasized on the need to provide the seeds with optimum spacing for a healthy growth.
The programme ended with a productive interaction session with the farmers and disseminating the technical knowledge for better cropping.
