Tening, September 17 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tening block, organised various trainings and demonstration in Tening block on package and practises of king chilli and french bean at Nchangram Namsan village and Old Nzau village on August 31 and September respectively 1.
The trainings were held to equip the farmers with proper cultural practises and crop protection measures.
The Extension Team, Woshanthung Jamio, Rokozhalie and Imti also distributed Seed Money to Lungsa SGH, Nchangram Namsan village and Naiwi FSG, Old Nzau village to boost their farming activities related to French bean and king chilli.
Thereafter, a field day on king chilli was organised at a king chilli farm at Old Nzau on September 2, during which the farmers and ATMA Tening Team members discussed about constrains and problems of the king chilli farmers and talked about the prevention measures of the diseases that was prevalent in the farm.
