
Kohima | September 20 : Authorities are yet to establish a clue as to which group was involved in yesterday’s gunfight near Lerie here in which one person was killed and another three, including two Assam Rifles jawans were injured. Sources, however, said cash amounting to Rs.90,000, two ATM cards of Axis Bank and SBI and debit card of Central Bank and a NCSU identity card bearing the name of the deceased, Kelhouba Angami, was recovered from the Gypsy that was ditched by the occupants of the vehicle after the deceased, who was reportedly driving the vehicle, was shot dead in the exchange of fire. Besides several spent and live cartridges of assorted arms were recovered from the site of the gunbattle, the sources said.
