Kohima, January 24 (MExN): A COVID-19 vaccination sensitization and awareness campaign was organised for the health staff of CHC Longkhim, PHC Chare and PHC Noksen on January 21 and 22 respectively.
During the campaign which was organised by the CMO Tuensang, Dr I Moatemjen Jamir encouraged the health staff to take the COVID-19 vaccine without hesitation and be an example in order to boost the confidence of the general public.
He also instructed the health workers not to share unauthorised news regarding the vaccine to prevent false rumours on social media. He further talked about the details of the Covishield vaccine, mode of injection, dosage and its contraindications.
A press note received here on Sunday stated that the CMO also visited Longra village under Noksen block for site verification of a new Sub-Center.
