Zunheboto, February 12 (MExN): An awareness and sensitization on COVID-19 vaccination for frontline workers (FLWs) of Zunheboto district for 8th NAP B Coy was conducted on February 12.
Dr Nukshisangla Jamir DPO (RCH/UIP), Zunheboto appealed to all the participants to come forward and get vaccinated and not miss the opportunity. She also urged the participants not to believe in misconceptions about the vaccine.
Giving a detailed explanation on the Covishield vaccine and how the doses are administered, the DPO appealed to all the participants to get vaccinated in order to stay safe and to protect oneself, family and neighbors. Dr Jamir also gave a detailed report on the number of healthcare workers in Nagaland and Zunheboto who have been vaccinated for the first dose so far. The workshop was followed by interaction and discussion session.
