Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The AZSU (AMN) - All Zeliangrong Students’ Union (Manipur & Nagaland) has flayed the alleged assaults on a government official and individual on two separate occasions.
A press release from AZSU (AMN) Media Cell informed that the first incident occurred on February 2 when some armed group allegedly assault and attacked the SDO of Noney.
The other assault occurred on February 7 when one Namganglung Gangmei of Charoipandongla Part - II Village was “attacked, assault and robed,” it added.
Stating that such acts are uncalled for in civilized society, the AZSU (ANM) expressed its outright condemnation of the ‘heinous crimes.’
The Zeliangrong people have been yearning for peace and brotherhood and such acts should condemned by every right mined Zeliangrong people, it added.
The office of the AZSU (ANM) further wished the victims a speedy recovery and appealed the all armed group residing within Zeliangrong inhabited area to shunt away from all such gruesome act.
It further urged the concerned authority to discipline there cadres strengthen the unity of people.
