Dimapur, March 19 (MExN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) on Friday condemned the alleged assault and abduction of a truck driver from Jammu & Kashmir and his helper by unknown miscreants recently in Dimapur. While lauding the joint effort of the Dimapur Police and Assam Rifles in rescuing the duo, it also stated that “there should be no room for such criminal acts in our society.” Law enforcing agencies should get to the root of the problem and prevent such incidents which harm the image and reputation of the state, it added.
