BAN discuss business avenues with Tripura merchants

DIMAPUR, MARCH 20 (MExN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) convened a meeting with the All Tripura Merchant's Association (ATMA) Chairman Ratan Saha and General Secretary Sujit Roy at the BAN Conference Hall in Dimapur on March 19. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for business development between Nagaland and Tripura while fostering a platform for mutual learning and collaboration.

Nagaland and Tripura stand poised for a mutually beneficial relationship, with vast potential for the exchange of goods and resources. Both states recognize the opportunity to address each other's needs and capitalize on untapped market opportunities.

According to a press release issued by BAN, during the meeting, ATMA shed light on the forthcoming Sabroom Land Port, poised to become the gateway to Northeast India. This pivotal infrastructure project promises to streamline transportation across the region and bolster connectivity between Northeast India and Southeast Asia. Additionally, participants underscored the significance of establishing uninterrupted rail linkages between Nagaland and Tripura to facilitate seamless trade and commerce.
