Dimapur, December 12 (MExN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has welcomed the move of the state government for implementation of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act, 2002.
“This implementation could not have come at a better time when businesses are trying to recover from the impact of Covid-19 pandemic,” BAN President, L Mongkum Jamir and General Secretary Dr Yan Murry stated in a press release.
“With implementation of the SARFAESI Act, Naga entrepreneurs and businesses can now have a breather to sustain and expand its businesses while contributing towards employment generation and building our state economy,” it stated.
“BAN will closely work with banks and financial institutions so that the SARFAESI Act is implemented in letter and spirit,” the association affirmed.
