Banned alcohol and drugs destroyed in Mkg

Mokokchung, January 15 (DIPR): About 1000 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and more than 10,000 numbers banned drugs such as Nitroset-10 and SPM-PRX seized by Mokokchung police during the last four months were destroyed in the session court Complex Mokokchung today.
In pursuance of destruction order passed by Maongkaba Imchen, Additional District Session Judge, Mokokchung, the destruction was carried out by Destruction Committee:  T. Mar, Additional Public Prosecutor, Moa Lemtur, EAC, Vikram Khalate, IPS, SDPO Mokokchung and Among, Prosecution Inspector in presence of DPRO, Mokokchung and media persons.
DPRO, Mokokchung Chuba Walling in a press note informed that while executing the order, the Destruction Committee Chairman T. Mar Addl. PP, Mokokchung expressed appreciation to all police personnel posted at different places for their prompt and effective implementation of the Nagaland Total Prohibition Act. The Committee also appealed to all NGOs of Nagaland to support Law enforcing agencies for effective implementation of the Act saying Alcohol and drugs are the two main source of bringing problems to individuals and society.
