Phek, September 30 (MExN): The district administration & DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra (BBBP) Phek in collaboration with Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) is organizing an online essay competition 2020 under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao on the topic ‘Significance of girl child education in Nagaland.’
This competition commemorates 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The winner will receive Rs 3000 while 2nd and 3rd place will get Rs 2500 and Rs 1500 respectively. There will also be three consolations-Rs 500 each.
There will be two categories- class 8-12 and Bachelor degree and master degree. This competition is designed for girls only. The participants should be an indigenous inhabitant of Phek district. The essay should not exceed 1500 words (Excluding heading and title text).
