Bhandari ramp-up COVID-19 prevention measure

Bhandari, December 2 (MExN): In pursuant with the order of Home department, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Nagaland, regarding action to be taken for ensuring compliance of the SOPs for preventing the spread of COVID-19 during public gathering, social travel and other activities, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, Tiameren Chang, NCS through an order on December 1 has issued directive to the general public of Bhandari sub division. 

The order stated that wearing of face mask will be compulsory in all public places and defaulters would be penalized with a fine of Rs 200, a DIPR report stated. It directed drivers and passengers of public Buses/services and Sumos to wear face mask and must also possess Vaccination Card or Negative Test Report which must be taken not earlier than 72 hours from the date of travel.

A team constituted from the block Task Force, Bhandari on COVID-19 would check regularly at public places and the Bhandari check gate, the order stated.
