Ordained pastors and Reverend during the unveiling and dedication of the monolith stone to mark the 100 years celebration of Bhandari Village Baptist Church on March 27.
Wokha, March 27 (MExN): The two-day Bhandari Village Baptist Church (BVBC) centenary jubilee celebration commenced at Bhandari village on March 27.
The monolith stone marking the 100 years celebration was dedicated by Rev Dr L Tsanso, Secretary, Lotha Baptist Church Association (LBCA), informed a press release received here.
LBCA, President, Rev O Thungben Kikon pronounced the invocation, Rev N Longshi Lotha, pastor Bhandari Town Baptist church dedicated the theme, while Rev Benathung Humtsoe, pastor, Tsori Old Baptist church unveiled the history of Bhandari Village Baptist church 100 years with dedicatory prayer. Sulanthung Khenchung, SDO Civil, Bhandari delivered greeting.
AEFNEI Dimapur, Director, Rev Kaifa Ezung spoke on the theme from Psalm 146:10. Rev Fr Renthungo Victor, Secretary to Bishop Diocese of Kohima exhorted the congregation to come together in God’s love to reconcile, reform and proclaim the goodness of life.
