Wokha, March 28 (MExN): The Bhandari Village Baptist Church culminated its two-day centenary jubilee programme on March 28 with thousands of native villagers and neighboring village residents in attendance.
Rev Zanao Mozhüi, Pastor Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur shared on the service theme ‘Jisu jo Kyontsü pono Esapvüi’, while Zaben Kithan Pastor Yikhum Baptist Church invoked prayers of jubilee blessings.
In the evening, during the culmination programme Rev R P Murry spoke on the theme ‘Jisu Jo Limhatsü Pono Esapvüi’.
Murry said that with the new milestone, the Bhandari Village Baptist Church members should be responsible and encouraged them to continue to remain humble and faithful to seek God's blessings. He said that as a mature church, the Bhandari Village Baptist Church must now remain as an icon, a role model to various churches too.
A Lisumo Ovüng Pastor Pyangsa Baptist Church and Mhanchan Odyuo Pastor Changpang Baptist Church pronounced the invocation in the morning and evening service respectively.
C Jungithung Yantha PS to Mmhonlumo Kikon Advisor for IT, Science and Technology and NRE and N Jacob Yanthan, Joint Director Agri Kohima, Nagaland delivered greetings at the morning and evening service.
Centenary jubilee culmination prayer was pronounced by Rev M C Kithan, Treasurer and Finance Secretary, Lotha Baptist Church Association (LBCA).
