Dimapur, January 5 (MExN): A biography on Dr Nihoto P Chishi ‘atto kükau’ written by Dr Hesheto Y Chishi was released by MP Tokheho Yepthomi at Nihoto Village Dimapur on January 5. The book release marked the 95th birth anniversary of Dr Nihoto P Chishi.
Speaking as guest of honour, MP Tokheho said that Dr Nihoto P Chishi was his school teacher at Aghunato town in 1963. He was one of the best teachers of his time who was very punctual and honestly and sincerely served the community; a peace loving citizens and a man of charity by nature.
Dr Hesheto Chishi in his author’s note said, Dr Nihoto P Chishi is really a man of substance who has a golden heart for the people who are in need. His concerns for the well being of the community are deeply adorable and appreciable. His contribution to the society through this 95th years of community life service is innumerable and immense that would require time to record.
The programme was chaired by Ahovi Zhimomi, Director, NPPC and recorder by Shikaho Chishi, secretary, NPPC.
Invocation was pronounced by Mughalu Aowomi, pastor, NBC, special number presented by youth of Nihoto Baptist Church, cake cutting prayer by Kakheli Holo, Associate Women Pastor, NBC benediction by Pihoshe Assumi, chaplain, NPPC.
