BJP 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal to undertake outreach programme

Mokokchung, July 16 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal constituted a Social Outreach Committee with an aim to take the programmes and policies of the Nagaland PDA Government (of which the BJP is a major alliance) to the grass root level in the Mandal. 

The committee was unanimously constituted at its Mandal monthly executive meeting held at on July 15. This Committee, according to Mandal General Secretary Pranab Singh, has been a long felt aspiration of the party karyakartas of serving the people in tune with the BJP’s slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. 

Over the next few months, the Social Outreach Committee will chalk out different programmes and implement them in a phase manner. The Committee will collaborate with different government agencies, likeminded NGOs and individuals with the targeted aim of taking the different government schemes to the grass roots. 

President of BJP 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal, Lanusunep exuded hope that the Outreach Programme will be a success not only because the governmental programmes are people centric but also the citizens of 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal are educated and proactive when it comes to the welfare of the people. 

The BJP 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal has appointed Bendangmeren (State Council Member) as Convener, Bendangyanger (BJP District Secretary) and Lanusunep (President, 27 BJP Mokokchung Town Mandal) as Co-conveners. Pranab Singh (General Secretary of 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal) and Temsunungla (Mandal Secretary) were appointed as Member Secretary and Asst. Member Secretary respectively. Along with them, five Committee members were also appointed.
