Dimapur, December 28 (MExN): Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland State Unit along with Dimapur District Minority Morcha and Dimapur Mandal 1 Minority Morcha Unit celebrated Christmas by organising a feast outside Dimapur Railway Station on December 25.
H Tovihoto Ayemi, MLA & Advisor, Department of Power, Government of Nagaland was the Special Guest and sponsor of the Christmas feast, stated a press release received here.
Abhay Giri, Organising Secretary BJP incharge of Nagaland & Manipur was also present. Deep Kumar, State President Minority Morcha BJP welcomed all the guests to the programme. Special Christmas message & prayer was conducted by Pastor Atomi Kinimi, United Baptist Church, Y Zhimo Colony, Dimapur.
Special Guest Tovihoto Ayemi in his message said that Christmas is celebrated by people from all religions and, it brings joy and happiness to all. He lauded the efforts of Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland for coming up with the idea of celebrating Christmas and inviting poor people to the Christmas Feast. He thanked all the Karyakartas for preparing a delicious Feast. Christmas occasion give us the joy of oneness and spread happiness among all of us.
Earlier, a Christmas cake was cut by Tovihoto Ayemi and Abhay Giri ji. About 500 people were served with special Christmas feast. Sanjay Dey, Vice President Minority Morcha BJP Nagaland delivered the vote of thanks. The food was prepared under the supervision of Pradip Barman, General Secretary Dimapur Mandal 1 unit of Minority Morcha.
