BJP Nagaland condemns allegations against national organizing secretary

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 6 (MExN): The Nagaland State Unit of the BJP today expressed surprise at what it termed are “baseless allegations labeled through posters and social media campaign against the BJP national Organizing Secretary, Ananta Narayan Mishra.”

“Such allegations have no substance but it is only to tarnish the image of the party and therefore we strongly condemn it,” a press note from the Nagaland BJP’s Chief Spokesperson, Kuputo Shohe said.

The party viewed that this “would be the handiwork of our political adversaries in connivance with some disgruntled party members with an ulterior motive to weaken the party organisation which is growing in strength with new guard.”

The BJP Nagaland appealed to all party members to refrain from indulging in such “cowardly and immature act by going to social media, print-media and any sort of campaign against the party or any officials as it may attract disciplinary action as per the party constitution.”

Any grievance or complaints substantiated with evidence can be brought to the appropriate forum for redressal and justice, it further informed.
