ZUNHEBOTO, OCTOBER 12 (MExN): The BJP Zunheboto district unit held its first semi virtual district executive meeting at the party office on September 27.
The meeting re-affirmed to stand united and work for the betterment of the party, while resolving that party members of Zunheboto district “shall abide by the decision of the party high command Delhi in regards to the State President issue in the State.” A press release from the district unit’s General Secretary, Kiyeyi Aye informed that the meeting was attended by the district office bearers, Morcha leaders Mandal Presidents and General Secretaries of all the six Mandals—Akuluto, Atoizu, Suruhuto, Aghunato, Zunheboto and Satakha.
Shikuto Sema, District President gave the introductory speech and expressed his gratitude to all the party functionaries for extending full co-operation during the fight against COVID-19. He encouraged the party members to work very hard to bring more MLAs in the coming state election so as to build stronger bridge between the masses and the BJP government both in the State and the Centre.
The respective Mandal Presidents presented their activity reports, while District Morcha leaders submitted their progress reports.
The BJP Zunheboto District expressed gratitude to Advisors Kazheto Kinimi and Khehovi Yeptho for their support to the Zunheboto District Task Force and to the their respective constituencies during the lockdown due to COVID-19.
The party also expressed thanks to Temjen Imna Along, State BJP President for supplying sufficient face masks, hand sanitizers etc.
