‘Sangtam Jümü Yukheh’ written by Tsalong, Language Officer (Rtd) was released by MLA M Sangtam on May 21.
Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): A book on Sangtam folktale by Sangtam Literature Board (SLB) titled ‘Sangtam Jümü Yukheh’ was launched in the Council Hall, Sangtamtilla on May 21. The book written by Tsalong, Language Officer (Rtd) was released by MLA M Sangtam. He appreciated the author and SLB for the tireless effort and encouraged the community to uplift and preserved the Sangtam folktales and culture for the benefit of the future generation The author shared the significance of the book and how the book can be helpful for the upcoming generation and the community, stated a press release received here. Dr Alem Sangtam, chairman said that the lunching of this book was an important event in the history of the Sangtam Naga and thanked the Sangtamtilla Council and Sangtamtilla Baptist Church for hosting the event. USLP President, Seopialso also spoke during the function. Rev C Lima Sangtam, Ex-Executive Secretary USBL said the invocation while Dr Alem Sangtam, chairman, Sangtam Literature Board (SLB) welcomed the gathering. Sangtamtilla Baptist Church pastor, Toshi pronounced the benediction.
