Kiphire, September 27 (MExN): Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organized a joint coordination meeting with the village council of border villages in Thanamir area on September 26.
The meeting was chaired by Rajashekara N, DIG Range, Tuensang, during which matters related to the border security, COVID pandemic and precautionary measures and development of the border area were discussed. Employment opportunities for the women and youth including avenues for the school children to get admission into the Sainik School Punglwa were deliberated upon.
