Unity College annual inter-collegiate commerce festival held
Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): The Department of Commerce, Unity College Dimapur organized a virtual edition of its annual inter-collegiate commerce festival ‘COMMVANZA 2021’ on February 26.
The festival was organized under the theme ‘Bridging for a Resilient World’ to provide a platform for the commerce students to connect and exchange ideas to strive towards building a resilient world post COVID-19, the College informed in a press release on Saturday.
Altogether, students of nine colleges across Nagaland participated in the festival.
St Joseph’s College Jakhama won the first prize for The Entrepreneur (Rethink, Recreate and Restore) while Tetso College Dimapur bagged the first prize in Quiz-O-Mania (Business Buzz).
Group Discussion (Rap Session) was won by Unity College Dimapur and Turncoat (Black or White?!) was won by Tetso College. Oriental College, Kohima was declared winner of the Laughter Challenge (Clash of Comedians).
Judges for the competitions were Prof Gautam Patikar, Department of Commerce, Nagaland University, Dr Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Nagaland University and Dr HijamShila Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Entomology SASRD, Nagaland University.
