Dimapur, October 14 (MExN): C-Edge College, Dimapur held its 6th Commencement Day on October 12 via online mode with Hekani Jakhalu, Founder of YouthNet Nagaland as the Commencement Speaker.
The President of the College, Er Moa Aier gave the opening address and Principal Dr Chubatola Aier presided over the names of the students who had achieved laurels in several areas of academic and extracurricular activities such as the SPEAR award, MS Ramanathan Award for EVS topper, Star Attendance Award, and Laurel Merit Award. This year’s winner of the college SPEAR award was bagged by Imnatemjen Longkumer, BBA VI Semester.
Speaking on the occasion, Hekani Jakhalu stressed on success. She emphasized that successful people always gets out from the comfort zone because success is 90 per cent hard work and 10 per cent luck. She encouraged the graduates that hard work is the only way to achieve success and that there is no other option. She also mentioned that to be successful one has to start working hard from now. She concluded with her inspirational story and urging all to lead our lives using wisdom of God and build with the foundation of God in everything to make our lives beautiful. There were also Representative speakers from the students, Imnatemjen Longkumer (BBA VI Semester), Melijungla Phom (BA VI Semester) and Athe (BBA V Semester). The event was moderated by Viseno Kuotsu (Asst. Prof) and Kaikho Loli (Asst. Prof) pronounced the vote of thanks.
