Phek, September 29 (MExN): In commemoration of ‘Chakhesang Day of Covenant and National Repentance’, the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) has made an appeal to all the believers to observe the day with fasting and prayer on September 30.
CBCC, Executive Secretary, Rev Khrotso Mero in a press release maintained that this day is being observed every year by all Chakhesang people regardless of Church denominations in line with the declaration and covenant made by the representatives of all church denominations and the Chakhesang Public organization representatives during the National Revival Meeting held at Chozuba Town in 2012.
“As a part of commemorating this historic covenant every year, necessary information and prayer concerns have already been circulated by respective denominational churches. Therefore, the CBCC once again appeals and reminds all the churches to set apart this special day as a time of rededication and blessings for all the people,” the Executive Secretary added.
