Mon, June 2 (MExN): The Central Nodal Officer, Ministry of Jal Shakti for Jal Shakti Abhiyan, Ruchir Mittal and Technical Officer, CW & PRS, Pune, Dr Sanjay A Burelle visited Mon to inspect the various projects under Jal Shakti Abhiyan scheme.
A district level Jal Shakti Abhiyan committee meeting was convened on June 2 at the Mon DC's Conference Hall, where the Nodal Officer highlighted the various aspects of the scheme in a presentation, stated a DIPR report.
The team visited Lapa, Tizit accompanied by DPO, Land Resources & EE Water Resources Department. The team is scheduled to visit Tannang Irrigation Project, Water Bodies and Water Structures on June 3 and Irrigation Project at Ngangching and Chaoha Chinglen on June 4.
