Centre releases Rs 326.42 Cr to Nagaland 

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 5 (MExN): The Central Government has release Rs 326.42 Crore to Nagaland as monthly Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD).  This was the 11th instalment of the PDRD grant released to the States. In total the Centre released Rs. 6,195.08 crore to the States under PDRD. A PIB press release informed that the total amount released to Nagaland in 2020-21 comes up to Rs 3590.59 Crores. So far, an amount of Rs. 68,145.91 crore has been released to eligible States. The PDRD grants are released in monthly installments as per the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission to meet the gap in Revenue Accounts of the States post devolution. The Commission has recommended PDRD grants to 14 States.
