Dimapur, August 26 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch conducted a certificate course on first aid for lecturers and teachers of various colleges and schools in Kohima on August 23 and 24.
Dr. Kehousetuo Kuotsü, Ortho Specialist, Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima, Kholie Dolf, M.C Member IRCSN and Lucy J. Tungoe, APO IRCSN, were the resource persons. Altogether 22 persons attended the training representing 11 schools and colleges. A member from Nagaland Cricket Association also attended the training.
Zakie Kire, General Secretary, IRCSN in his valedictory speech implored to the participants to disseminate the knowledge they had gained to make the society a safer place to live in and also stressed on the importance of living a healthier and cleaner life by maintaining good sanitation in our own surroundings.
