Kohima, August 29 (MExN): The valedictory programme of the 7th Batch One Month Certificate course on School Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) for School Heads of GHSS and GHS of Nagaland  was held at SIEMAT Hall, SCERT Kohima on August 29.

The training, conducted from July 29 to August 29, was organised in collaboration with the Nagaland Education Project-The Lighthouse (NECTAR).

The programme was designed to strengthen the capacities of school leaders, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required for effective school management and leadership.

A report on the project works submitted by participants was presented by Dr. Thebi Joseph Shupao, Research Associate, SCERT, and Izeule Ramlila, SLA Faculty, SCERT.

Participants also shared feedback, reflecting on their learnings and the impact of the programme on their professional growth.

The programme concluded with a short speech delivered by T. Lima Longkumer, Additional Director & Cell Head, SIEMAT, SLA, SCERT, Nagaland, who congratulated the participants and encouraged them to translate their learnings into effective practices in their respective schools.

The School Leadership Development Programme has been a key initiative in building the leadership capacity of school heads across Nagaland. With the completion of the 7th batch, the programme continues to contribute towards creating a culture of innovation, accountability, and academic excellence in schools.

The valedictory session was chaired by Benjungdenla Yaden, Reader, SCERT.
