Kohima, April 17 (MExN): The Chandmari Gorkha Union (CGU) held its 3rd general meeting at GPPK Hall on April 16. The meeting chaired by Prem Kr Thapa, Chairman CGU was attended by members of Gorkha community from Chandmari and surrounding areas. The CGU in a press release stated that during the meeting, various issues concerning the Gorkha community were discussed, and resolutions were adopted. The contributions of Dr Budhi Lama, Retd Director, Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Nagaland, were acknowledged by CGU.
Gorkha Singha Devi Mandir Committee also shared issues of concern during the meeting. Mohan Gurung, Jt Secretary, and Meghraj Lama, Welfare Secretary shared on the statistical form. Samir Thapa, Secretary, CGU informed the upcoming activities planned by the union through a declaration. A short speech was also delivered by Budhi Lama. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Rahul Khati, Asst. Statistical Secretary, CSU.
