Appoints new Ceasefire Monitoring Cell & Steering Committee Convenor; Caretaker Kilo Kilonser
Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): Kilonser, K Mero took charge as the new Convenor of NSCN (IM)’s Ceasefire Monitoring Cell on May 4.
At the handing and taking over charge programme held at the Ceasefire Monitoring Cell office in Diphupar, the outgoing Convenor Kihoyi Swu handed over the charge to Kilonser Mero, informed a press release issued by the MIP, NSCN (IM).
During the same, violation of ceasefire ground rules was broadly discussed and the new Convenor took the stand to “pursue any ceasefire violations by the Indian security forces in a meaningful manner in order to establish peaceful atmosphere for the Indo-Naga political talks,” it said.
Meanwhile, Rh Raising, Member, Collective Leadership, has been appointed as Caretaker Kilo Kilonser, replacing Daniel M Lotha.
Steering Committee Convenor, Ashiho Asoumai was replaced by KK Angami, the release added.
