SDO (Civil) Changtongya by C Wangan inaugurates first fuel station in Changtongya town, an HPCL outlet on December 19.
Changtongya, December 19 (MExN): The first fuel station in Changtongya was inaugurated at New Medical Colony, Changtongya town by C Wangan, SDO (Civil) Changtongya. The HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) fuel outlet was inaugurated in the presence of Village Council members of Changtongya area, All Ward Chairmen's Union, and GBs Union of Changtongya town, as well as Church leaders in and around the town.
A press release informed that, in his inaugural speech, SDO Wangan congratulated the proprietor of Tir Service Station and appreciated HPCL for providing much-needed service for the people in Changtongya.
“It is a red-letter day for the people of Changtongya area in particular, and it should be our responsibility to protect public properties and services,” he added.
The SDO also assured all possible support and cooperation to the oil company.
Earlier, the pastor of Longchara Baptist Church, Moameren, pronounced a dedicatory prayer, and the inaugural concluded with a mass prayer. The function was chaired by Associate Pastor (Youth) of Longchara Baptist Church, Meren Imsong.
