Chümoukedima, February 2 (MExN): Chümoukedima Mandir Committee (CMC) under the banner of Chümoukedima Hindu Society (CHS) had its first meeting on January 31 in Chümoukedima town towards the cause of mandir construction in Chümoukedima.
The Committee in a press release stated that the programme began with a short prayer by Pandit Nandaraj Upadhyay. A brief history on Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland (CHYN) and achievements of CHS from 2008 till date was shared by Pintu M Ghosh, Working President, CHS.
Other leaders present in the meeting were KK Paul, President, Bengali Samaj Dimapur and Convenor, Non-Naga Communities Dimapur, Gopal Sharma, President Hindu Seva Samiti, Mahesh Kotecha, President Gujarati Samaj Dimapur, Alok Pareek and Pandit Nandaraj Upadhyay.
The programme was chaired by Sujit Dey, Finance Secretary, CMC and vote of thanks was delivered by Raj Kumar Das, President, Chümoukedima Hindu Yuva Nagaland Alok Pareek pronounced Kalyan Mantra in a press release issued by Prakash Chetri, Secretary, CMC.
