
Kohima, November 27 (MExN): Celebrating the choral heritage of the Nagas, an open choir competition will be organised as part of the Hornbill Festival.
The choral celebration is open to all and it will be held on December 8 and 9 at the newly constructed Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima. With state-of-the-art facilities and JBL equipped sound-system, this will be a musical event worth experiencing. Entry is free, stated a press release received here. This event is organised and managed by Brillante Management.
“Embracing the spirit of celebration, this competition is open to any choir and invites all choirs and singing groups to register and take part. The repertoire can be of any genre and any language. With a total of Rs 5 lakh in cash prizes to be won, this is an opportunity that must be seized,” it stated.
