Kohima: The Government of Nagaland in a notification vide NO. TPT/RAIL-9/97 (Pt.II) dated 1st May 2014, has constituted the following committees for the purpose of proper and effective monitoring vis a vis close coordination between the State departments and the Northeast Frontier Railway for execution of the Dhansiri (Assam) to Zubza – Thizama (Nagaland) new railway line project.
State Level Committee: Chief Secretary, Nagaland-Chairman; Member-Director General of Police, Nagaland; Home Commissioner, Nagaland; Principal Secretary & Commissioner, Nagaland; Principal Secretary (Power), Nagaland; Principal Secretary (Works & Housing), Nagaland; Secretary (PHE), Nagaland; Secretary (Land Revenue), Nagaland; Representative of the General Manager, Construction, N.F.Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati and Representative of the Chief General Manager, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, NE-II Circle, Dimapur-Co-opted Member; Commissioner & Secretary (Transport), Nagaland-Member Secretary.
The Committee shall meet once in 3 (three) months and take report from the Departmental Committee pertaining to progress of works.
Departmental Committee: Principal Secretary & Commissioner, Nagaland-Chairman; member-IGP (HQ), Office of the DGP, Kohima; Chief Engineer (R&B), Nagaland; Chief Engineer (Power), Nagaland; Chief Engineer (PHED), Nagaland; Director (Land Record & Survey),Nagaland; Representative of the General Manager, Construction, N.F. Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati and Representative of the Chief General Manager, BSNL, NE-II Circle, Dimapur-Co-opted Member; General Manager, Nagaland State Transport, Nagaland-Member Secretary.
The Committee shall meet once in 2 (Two) months and take report from the District Level Committee on the progress of works
