Kohima Smart City Development Ltd in collaboration with Nagaland Mountain Biking Association and the Tribal Cult has conducted a free “Community Bicycle Workshop” here today to propagate safe, smart and confident bicycling.
The programme seeks to promote bicycle safety and equip old and new riders alike with the resources and skills they need to ride a bicycle safely and confidently, with the ultimate goal of increasing bicycle ridership in Kohima.
During the workshop, cycling experts demonstrated basic cycling techniques like braking, cornering, ideal body position, etc.
This event is in continuation of the India Cycles4Change Challenge whereby Kohima under the initiative of the Kohima Smart City Development Ltd is participating in the competition along with 95 other cities.
