Community Resource Persons of NERLP Peren trained

Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): A three-day residential Training of Trainers (ToT) for Community Resource Persons (CRPs) of NERLP Peren district was held at AIDA Don Bosco, Dimapur from August 21–23.   Organized by North East Rural Livelihood Project (NERLP) in collaboration with MYRADA, a grassroots level promotion organization of Bangalore, the training concluded with post test and feedback from all the participants. The resource persons were Shivashankar and Ravi.  

Masanwangliu, Coordinator, Social Gender and Community Mobilization of NERLP Peren district in a press release informed that the main purpose of the training was to give handholding support to NERLP Tuensang district, where the CRPs round of training will be continued to share and train on Self Help Groups (SHGs) and SHG Village Federation concept, experiences and good practices of the Peren district SHGs and SHG Village Federation.  

Altogether, 10 CRPs and 3 Project Facilitator Staff of NERLP Peren district reached Tuensang on August 25 for Tuensang CRPs round of training which will be carried out from August 27 to September 24, it was stated. The CRPs will be divided in 5 teams and cover 12 villages each. Altogether, 60 villages will be covered by September 24, the release added.
