Dimapur, February 7 (MExN): A day after the demise of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) Vice President Jonathan Ao, condolences poured in for the late leader on Sunday.
The NPCC Minority Department in its condolence message stated that late Jonathan was not only a leader but also a good friend. “He was our confidant and our source of inspiration and motivation. He will always stay alive in our memories and heart,” it stated. Meanwhile, in a separate statement, the Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) expressed shock and sadness at the demise of late Jonathan. They described the late leader as ‘humble, jovial’ person and that he was known for his ‘ever ready’ attitude. “His demise is a huge loss and has created a huge vacuum within the party, which would be difficult to fill,” it stated.
Conveying condolences to the bereaved family, both the NPCC Minority Department and KDCC prayed for late Jonathan to rest in peace.
