Kohima: The Contesting Candidates for Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency have been informed to lodge their account of election expenses to the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer on or before June 16, 2014. The account of election expenses shall be correct account or a true copy of the account kept/maintained by the Candidate or by his election agent for the purpose of Section 77 of the RP Act, 1951.
The Contesting Candidates have also been informed that Section 10A of RP Act, 1951 provides for Disqualification for failure to lodge account of election expenses within the time and in the manner required by or under this Act; and has no good reason or justification for the failure.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer has also fixed Facilitation Training for Contesting Candidates and Election Agents for filing/lodging of account on May 29 and 30 from 11:00 am onwards at DCs Kohima Conference Hall.
