Dimapur, May 29 (MExN): The Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) on Saturday said that “our contributions toward humanity at this juncture will be of immense importance.” The Federation said that it is happy and encouraged to see the roles played by GB Union (Sadar) and Dimapur Chairman Federation towards its citizens.
The Federation in a press release issued by its President, Shalem Konyak, General Secretary, Shikuto Zalipu and Media Secretary, Akhu Naga commended the government, medical team, police department, DMC, churches, NGOs and individual who have been tirelessly rendering services to the needy including COVID-19 patients and poor section of people.
“The unimaginable situations we all are facing today shall be history tomorrow. We have lost many prominent leaders and important personalities during this pandemic,” it stated and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
Meanwhile, as per the advice given by the Governor, the Federation said that all GBs of Nagaland are expected to take care of their villages, colonies and work in coordination with their concern administration. “NGBF will always stand for the welfare of the people and pray for this pandemic to get over soon,” it added.
