DIMAPUR, JANUARY 3 (MExN): On Day-3 of the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy final, Meghalaya could not make most of the opportunity presented by Nagaland as they were bowled out in the first hour of the day's play.
Once again for Nagaland, Anil (3/49) didn't take much time to remove the overnight batter Angkit (27 runs) while Neizolie (3/48) accounted for the prize wicket of Shavian (62 runs). Meghalaya could reach 234 all out falling short of Nagaland's 1st inning score by 41 runs. Nagaland in their second innings saw captain Yugandhar guiding the team towards a strong position playing a very crucial innings of 105 not out.
At the end of the third day's play, Nagaland were 159/3. Nagaland leads Meghalaya by exactly 200 runs. The fourth day promises to be a very interesting day as it will bring a new champion of the tournament (Plate Group).
