The Golden Jubilee celebration of the Christian Revival Church (CRC) Phek village commenced today at Phek village.
The celebration commenced with the dedication of a monolith stone by Rev Z David Koza, Executive Secretary, CCCRC, commemorating the church's five- decade long journey. In his message, Rev Koza paid tribute to the pioneers and elders of the church whose unwavering faith and vision laid the foundation of the church.
Kuthovo Chizo led the solemn ceremony, while Sunday school students rendered a special presentation.
Adding to the festivity, Tiayanger Longkumer sounded the Jubilee Trumpet, heralding the significance of the milestone.
Later, Rev Zhowhuyi Nyekha, chairman, ordination board of CCCRC dedicated the Jubilee memorial flat, a structure symbolising church's growth and gratitude.
The dedication of the tabernacle was done by Rev Chekhiinii Sakhamo, pastor CRC Porba Village.
The golden Jubilee celebration which commenced with prayer and thanksgiving, will continue until December 22.
A series of programmes including worship and jubilee feast are line up to commemorate the event.
Later, the worship service was led by Chitaneyi Venuh, pastor CRC Phek village with Rev Zaseyi Veswuh, chairman CCCRC as the speaker. Greeting was shared by Rev Vesito Venuh, pastor PVBC.
