CRISIL Foundation launches 7th MoneyWise Centre in Ahthibung

Peren, November 16 (MExN): The CRISIL Foundation launched its MoneyWiseCentre for Financial Literacy (CFL) at Ahthibung Town under Peren district on November 15.

CRISIL Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of CRISIL Ltd. This is the 7th MoneyWise Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) in Nagaland among the 12 Centres which are to be implemented in 6 districts of Nagaland.

The opening remark was given by Centre Manager – CFL Ahthibung, Isile Nza, while Pastor Lenkholam Hangsing, Kuki Christian Church, Ahthibung invoked blessing and launched the CFL Ahthibung office in the presence of Z T Paul Mao, Lead District Manager (SBI) of Dimapur and Peren District, along with Ksh Rameshwar Singh, Chief Manager (Financial Inclusion) SBI-Dimapur, Ahthibung Town Committee, Head GB, Kuki  Nute Kiloikhom, Ahthibung Youth & Students Union and well-wishers.

Z T Paul Mao, Lead District Manager (SBI) of Dimapur and Peren District, gave a brief speech on the importance of financial literacy and financial inclusion. Mao also encouraged the people of Ahthibung Town to fully take advantage of this MoneyWise Centre of Financial Literacy. The programme was followed by a brief introduction on RBI ‘MoneyWise Centre for Financial Literacy’ project and the purpose and importance of setting up of CFL by Area Manager (Nagaland), L Wopanthung Kikon, CRISIL Foundation and Regional Manager (NorthEastZone- II) CRISIL Foundation, Abhishek Mazumder.
