Dimapur, October 23 (MExN): The Chizami Range Public Organisation (CRPO) held a consultative meeting with all the VCCs within its range, along with the Chizami Town Adhoc Committee, at Chizami on October 22 to discuss the ongoing Two Lane Road construction being executed by the NHIDCL.
Updates from the CRPO on Friday stated that the organisation welcomed the road project “which will ensure better road connectivity within the state and beyond enhancing the prospect of economic growth and development for the rural people which for so long has been hampered for want of better roads and communication.”
The organisation unanimously resolved to oppose any anti-social activities that will hinder the proper execution of the project which is being carried out for the larger good and interest of the people of the area, it added.
Further, it resolved to strongly insist that the road construction be done as per the DPR and laid down rules without compromising on the quality of the work, while assuring support and cooperation to the company executing the project.
It also appealed to the general public to give cooperation for the successful execution of the project.
