The Chingmei Saoshuong Thangjam Tuensang Town (CSTTT) celebrated its 25 years jubilee with the theme, ‘Thus far the Lord has helped us’ at CBLT Conference Hall on November 6 in Tuensang.
The actual date of the celebration was on April 17 but due to COVID-19 pandemic it was postponed. Rev S Achila, Associate Pastor Women, Tuensang Town Baptist Lashong was the theme speaker. She congratulated the team and thanked the pioneers for their efforts. She further encouraged the gathering to take their union to the next level till its 50th anniversary.
The jubilee souvenir unveiling and dedication prayer was led by Rev L Noksen, Women Secretary, CBLT. She also sought blessings for the union and prayed in remembrance of the lives that have passed on. A brief history of the union was narrated by one of its founding member I Aüching. A special song was presented by Chenyang and team, while welcome address was delivered by Alep, President CSTTT.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by S Kundanglemla with Akhumla as the recorder while invocation was pronounced by Kundang, Associate Pastor Women, Yungkük Baptist Church, Tuensang. Vote of thanks was delivered by Convenor of the Planning Committee.
