Phek, July 22 (MExN): In regard to the recent advertising of teachers under several categories by the Directorate of School Education Nagaland, the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) and Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) today in a press statement directed the entire VCCs, VEC Chairman, School Managing Board, Head of the Institutions under Phek District to restraint from recommending of any teachers under their jurisdiction with immediate effect.
CSU President Esther Rhakho and PSU President Vikuolie Janry stated that the advertisement containing the name of Primary Teachers as retention and regularization under DIS Phek does not include a single inhabitant from Phek district which totally violates the norms and criteria of the government and is outside the purview of the RTI Education Act.
The two students’ organization is in the process of taking its course of action to deal with the concerned authority, they further directed the stated authority to do away with the recommending of the stated teachers from their jurisdiction till further notice. The organizations further warned that if any of the above mentioned authority within the district on failing to comply with the directives shall be severely dealt with. The entire students’ organizations from the district are further asked to be vigilant with the same.
