
Chümoukedima, December 27 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Village Council (CVC) has urged villages, organisations of various communities and the citizens of Chümoukedima district to extend all possible assistance to the Government in setting up its mechanisms, so that the administration becomes functional at the earliest.
In a press release on Monday, CVC Chairperson Razouvotuo Chatsu and Joint Secretary Sedevikho Tsükrü urged all communities to help foster unity and goodwill for each other so that, all communities may partake and be equal stakeholders in the development and growth of the new district.
It also acknowledged the Nagaland Government under Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for declaring Chümoukedima as the 15th District of the State, stating that the “historic decision” has proven the mettle of the Government and fulfilled the long-felt aspirations and desire of its citizens.
