Kohima, March 11(MExN): In a round-up to the Lok Sabha polls scheduled for April 9 in Nagaland, the election campaign for Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) consensus candidate will officially kick off from Dimapur on March 27 at 11:00 am. DAN, comprising of the NPF, BJP and JD (U) has already endorsed Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio as the DAN consensus candidate for the Lok Sabha polls in Nagaland. DAN convenor and NPF president Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu told media persons on the sidelines of a book release function here that the party’s election manifesto will be similar to that of the previous Lok Sabha polls. Dr. Liezietsu also stated that this time the NPF will not put up a party candidate for Lok Sabha polls in Arunachal Pradesh but it will set up a party candidate in the forthcoming Legislative Assembly elections there for which necessary arrangement is going on.
