Dimapur, December 14 (MExN): Darogajan Community Marketing Shed constructed under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) was inaugurated on December 12.
Director of Agriculture, M Ben Yanthan inaugurated the facility in the presence of Joint Director of Agriculture, Bendanglila; Dy Director of Agriculture, SK Khemprai; VCC Darogajan Vitokhu Achumi; Head GB Darogajan Brojeswar Langthasa and Rev Dr Vikishe Chishi.
In his inaugural speech, the Director of Agriculture expressed hope that the marketing shed would be fully utilized by the farmers of the area for sale of their produce. He also congratulated the people of the village for having completed the construction of the marketing shed successfully in time.
Jt Director, Bendanglila and N Jacob Yanthan also spoke during the occasion and encouraged the people of the area to earn income by selling their agricultural produce/products utilizing the facility provided to them.
The function was presided by Vitokhu Achumi, VCC and the vote of thanks was pronounced by Lothak Girisa, GB Darogajan.
