Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): Compensation payments for landowners and beneficiaries affected due to the construction of 220kV D/C transmission line from Dimapur to Zhadima from AP-82 to 153 will be paid in the Dimapur Deputy Commissioner’s Conference hall on December 19, 1:00 pm onwards.
Informing this in a public notice issued on Wednesday, Dimapur DC Rajesh Soundararajan has informed landowners and beneficiaries of New Chümoukedima village, Kukidolong, Medziphema, Pherima-A, Tsiepama Model village and Tsiepama village, to come in person along with identity proof, bank passbook (original and photocopies), five passport sized photos, etc.
The chairperson/head GB and members of the concerned village councils have been directed to be present for identification of landowners and beneficiaries, and issue of NOCs during disbursal of cheques, failing which, payment would be withheld, the notice stated.
Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained, it added.
