Kohima, October 11 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab has clarified that the Model Code of Conduct in Kohima district, in view of the Bye-Election to the 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency shall be applicable only within the limits of 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency, including the three polling stations under Ward No. 5 Kitsubozou (Chotobosti). The release was issued in continuation to an earlier notification dated September 29 and in light of the clarification on the applicability of Model Code of Conduct received from the CEO Nagaland on October 10 and Election Commission of India letter dated October 9, the DC said.
